The dangers of chasing the high of accomplishment

performance coaching

Hey Ladies!

As I wrap up a day filled with diverse sessions, a thought weighs on me—the relentless pursuit of success. Today, let's pause and acknowledge our accomplishments, for you, my friend, are doing exceptionally well.

In our relentless pursuit, we often forget to celebrate the now, always eyes set on the next milestone. I've been there, on stages and achieving dreams, only to find myself asking, "What's next?" It's a pattern many of us fall into, the never-ending chase for the next big thing.

Today, I urge you to sit down, pen a list, create a mental inventory of your achievements. Not just the tangible, material wins, but the essence of who you've become in the process. Have you achieved peace of mind, commitment to things once deemed impossible? These are victories too.

In our quest for more, we become addicts to accomplishment highs, needing a bigger hit each time. It's like bodybuilding or tanning—each achievement becomes insufficient, demanding more to feel the same rush.

So, my friend, take a moment. Acknowledge your growth, your skills, your knowledge. You're likely doing far better than you realize. Break free from the addiction to accomplishment. Celebrate the journey, celebrate YOU.

Remember, in recognizing the good you're doing, you empower yourself to choose your path consciously. You're not just mindlessly chasing more; you're crafting a life of fulfillment.

If this resonates, make that list, share your thoughts with me on Instagram, and pass this on to someone who might need this reminder.

Here's to celebrating the incredible being that is you!

With love and light,

Monika ✨
