Transforming My Routine for Optimal Rest and Productivity

performance coaching

In this episode, I want to delve into a topic that has had a profound impact on my life: sleep. As a sleep coach, I've noticed that many of my clients are struggling with sleep-related issues. It's crucial to get proper rest, as it affects our overall well-being, productivity, and daily life. Today, I'll share my personal journey of transforming my sleep routine and how it has positively impacted my life.

I used to be the type of person who stayed up until the early hours of the morning, believing that it was just how I functioned. Little did I know that going to bed so late was taking a toll on the quality of my sleep. Although I was getting the recommended hours of sleep, I was missing out on the deep sleep that typically occurs during the early hours of the morning.

The turning point came when I started tracking my sleep using a reliable app. Tracking allowed me to understand the patterns and quality of my sleep. I highly recommend everyone to start tracking their sleep to gain valuable insights into their own sleep patterns. It's not just guesswork; the numbers provide powerful information.

Realizing that my late-night routine was affecting my mornings and overall productivity, I decided to make a change. I started gradually going to bed earlier, but it wasn't until I had a quantum healing hypnosis session that I truly embraced the importance of sleep. During the session, I discovered that sleep was a time for me to connect with my true self, my higher self. It was an opportunity to receive answers and ideas that would benefit my waking life.

To make the most of my sleep, I developed a comprehensive sleep routine. I created a soothing environment in my bedroom, incorporating essential oils and humidifiers with calming scents such as lavender. The temperature was set to a cooler level, and I invested in a comfortable blanket to enhance my sleep experience.

Before bed, I engaged in guided visualizations or hypnosis, allowing my mind to relax and prepare for sleep. These practices helped me unwind and transition into a state of restfulness. Additionally, I made it a habit to write down my dreams in a notebook or mentally review them upon waking. This enabled me to uncover insights and messages from my dreams that I could apply to my waking life.

I must emphasize that quality sleep goes beyond physical rest; it affects various aspects of our lives. From productivity and cravings to muscle recovery and weight loss, sleep plays a vital role in our overall well-being and longevity.

If you find yourself struggling with sleep, I encourage you to track your sleep patterns, evaluate the quality of your rest, and consider developing a personalized bedtime routine. Celebrate your nights by dedicating time to relax, setting the mood for sleep, and engaging in practices that calm the mind.

Remember, you have the power to transform your sleep and unlock the potential of your dreams. Through tracking, routine, and self-exploration, you can enhance the quality of your sleep, boost your well-being, and tap into the wisdom of your subconscious.
