Mastering Self: The Three Rules I Live By

Welcome back, friends! Today, I want to share with you three fundamental rules that have guided me throughout my life. These rules are simple yet profound, and I believe they can help you too, no matter where you are on your journey. So, let's dive in.

Rule 1: Self-Mastery

Self-mastery is the foundation of everything I do. It's about managing the chatter in your head—the doubts, fears, and distractions—that can hold you back. I often share on social media how most days, I don't feel like working out. The voice in my head tries to convince me to prioritize other things. But I've learned to treat that voice like background noise and stay committed to my goals.

Self-mastery is not about being perfect or never having negative thoughts. It's about recognizing those thoughts and choosing not to let them control you. Whether it's exercising, eating well, or pursuing your dreams, self-mastery is key to living a fulfilling life.

Rule 2: Integrity

Integrity is about keeping promises to yourself. It's not just about being honest with others; it's about being true to your word, even when no one is watching. When you consistently follow through on your commitments, no matter how small, you build self-trust.

Start with simple promises, like taking a daily walk or reading a few pages of a book. As you keep these promises, you'll strengthen your belief in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals.

Rule 3: Authenticity

Authenticity is about being true to yourself and living in alignment with your values. It's easy to get caught up in what others expect of us, but true fulfillment comes from living authentically. Whether it's in your relationships, career, or personal life, being authentic allows you to live with purpose and meaning.
